Hello! I am a research intern at Naver Labs. I previously worked as a researcher at Professor U Kang‘s Data Mining Lab in SNU. I received B.S. in Computer Science at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). My research interests cover:

  • Recommender System, Deep Learning, Scalable Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics Systems.

    - Develop deep music recommender system based on music sentiment analysis

    Data Mining Lab (Prof. U Kang), Seoul National University (SNU)

    - Designed scalable algorithm for coupled matrix-tensor factorization, graph and tensor generation. 
    - Developed distributed Tera-scale Graph generation and Visualization tool (TeGViz). 
    - Developed large-scale tensor mining package (BIGtensor) providing tensor decompositions, generation, operations, etc on Hadoop, and distributed Tera-scale Tensor generation tool (TeT).

    - Designed workload generation model for performance evaluation of parallel DBMS for large-scale SNS.

    - Designed compression algorithm for user's play data and the method to replay them without latency on mobile network environment.
    - Developed server (LAMP) and client (C++) of mobile services: online game ``Circus Runaway`` made of 120,000+ lines of C++ code, puzzle game ``MegaCircles DX`` made of 50,000+ lines of C++ code.
